The VisionCommunity Center Building Update

Currently we are in Phase 1B of our full community campus. This phase is one of four phases. We continue to expand our programs by providing opportunities for our members to live meaningful and active lives with supported independence to meet their multiple needs. Our next step is building outdoor recreational areas, a gathering pavilion, gymnasium, as well as respite homes and residential housing.

This community service for promotion of his book will discuss learning about living with aspergers from his adult perspective.
Sam Farmer was diagnosed at the age of forty and he received a life-altering diagnosis of Asperger’s syndrome. In spite of initial feelings of frustration and confusion, he learned to embrace his newfound “Aspie” profile, recognizing that doing so would ultimately pave the way toward acquiring self-love. It has simply changed his life!!!!
As an avid autism spectrum community contributor, Mr. Farmer will share what he has learned with the intent of helping others help themselves. Interwoven with real stories of personal triumphs, this book offers clear advice and simple steps for overcoming adversity and improving life.

contributeWays You Can Help

Donate

We hold regular fundraisers in the community and would love for you to join us. In order to fulfill the complete dream of building the TLC community, we need ongoing financial gifts. Please donate now, or contact us to see how you can become a Partner for Potential.

Communicate

If you are aware of any adult with special needs, please share the TLC dream with their family. We currently have a weekday program, a Saturday program, and many social activities. We would love to serve more people. Please tell those within your circle of influence about TLC.

Volunteer

There are a variety of ways you can help. Please visit our Committees page to learn more about our needs and where you will most enjoy serving with TLC. Since we serve a very vulnerable population, background screenings are required for all volunteers who will have direct contact with TLC clients.
